How to Move with Intention

Being intentional in your life is extremely valuable. It allows you to make a clear purposeful path. You can focus on what is important to you and take action. These actions will be purposeful, goal-oriented, and designed to align you with the path you are meant for.

In life, we often start to get mixed emotions, conflicting thoughts, or confusion on what choice to make or what direction we should take. When this happens – it is necessary to realize that this is what is going on. It is vital that you come to terms with these feelings and understand how they can affect your next move.

By doing this – you can evaluate what is important to you and allow yourself to create a purposeful vision. This will allow you to receive clarity in your choices and clarity in your life. As life passes, we are given many choices, people, ideas, and opportunities. In order to sort through these feelings and major decisions, we must be intentional with our actions.

Some of my intentions are –

  • Always treat people with kindness

  • Take care of myself no matter the circumstances

  • Become the best version of myself in order to one day become the best mom I can be

  • Find success in doing what I love and staying true to myself

  • Find happiness in every place that I am

To accomplish these – I set goals and take mental note of them. When things do not go as planned, or people do things I never expected, I take a step back. I reflect. I understand it is not personal, I feel the emotions I need to, I allow it to pass me, and I continue to move with intention. With intentions to understand those around me, to see people in a good light, to treat them with kindness, and to never give up on building the best version of myself.

Do not be fearful of your goals and do not doubt your ability. Create boundaries that allow you to continue working on your dreams and not veer off your path. Always remember that the people who surround you are becoming a part of your energy. They are becoming small pieces of your puzzle that you will look back on when your life has finished in full.

Once your goals are created and you actively work towards them – keep a strong and determined mindset. Practice gratitude and being thankful for the lessons that have come your way, the people who have passed through your life, and the situations that have taught you more than any class, book or mentor could.

You will create clarity in both your life as well as the lives of those around you.

Some ways to be intentional in your days are –

  • Focus your energy on the task at hand – this will increase productivity

  • Be purposeful with your days, be purposeful with your time

  • Appreciate the supportive and important relationships in your life

  • Express gratitude

Take time to be thankful for the people in your life by recognizing what it is that they do, that is important to you. I am thankful for my friends and family for all different reasons but collectively because they love me, care about me, support me, and never question my value.

Take each day as it comes and fill it with intention. May clarity wash over you and may you fall in love with being intentional. Make the most of your time in this wonderful world and always move with kindness.
