The way you fill me with happiness, excitement, and every joy in life is something I will forever cherish. Tears of gratitude and delicate smiles come often as I am constantly amazed by your beauty. The kindness and love of everyone I have met, have been nothing short of beautiful. I've always wanted to live in a city in which I was constantly evolving and becoming the best version of myself, and now, at twenty-three years old, I’ve finally found you.

Today it rained, and I walked block after block finding my way to the metro with cold drops knocking into every inch of my body, but I couldn't help but smile. Because whether there is rain or shine, you always bring a smile to my face. You make me feel loved and you make me feel at home, even when I am entirely alone. You make me smile at the thought of you and leave me thankful every day for your existance. You teach me strength, independence, and how lucky I am that I can rely on myself.

I went to one of your football games the other day, and tears came to my eyes when we played the national anthem. How thankful I am to know you and to love you. Watching every bleu, blanc et rouge flag dance gracefully in the wind made me fall in love with you even more. There are no words that will ever be able to truly capture your beauty and charisma perfectly, but I hope these are some that show you how loved you are for being you.
