Makeup, Makeup – Read All About It

So, for this article, I thought it would be interesting to do my makeup routine. I don’t always wear makeup nor is makeup my favorite, but I do need to get ready every day for work, etc. so I thought I’d write about my favorite products.

I love shopping at Sephora, it is most definitely my favorite. I also get a lot of my products at Ulta Beauty. I usually try to do natural and simple looks. It takes me about ten minutes or so to do my makeup because I have a quick and easy routine.

Most of the products I talk about in this article will be in a picture down below, so you can see them as well!

Let’s get started –

I start off with a freshly cleaned face.

(If you want to check out my favorite face washes and scrubs, I have an article on it!)

I use the Burt’s Bees Truly Glowing eye gel cream for my eyes. It helps my under eyes de-puff, wake up, and brighten. I got this from Target.

Burt’s Bees Truly Glowing eye gel cream – Target $17.99

I then use the superfood air-whip moisture cream by Youth to The People. I am absolutely obsessed with it. It smells very fresh and hydrates my face very well. It has spinach and hyaluronic acid. Before this, I used the water cream by Tatcha. I also love that moisturizer very much and recommend it. I think these two products are equally as good. I will list both options for you guys!

Youth to The People Superfood Air-whip Moisture Cream – Sephora $48

Tatcha Water Cream – Sephora $68

I then use my primer which is the liquid silk canvas by Tatcha. This is my absolute favorite primer I have ever used. It protects my skin from the makeup, reduces my breakouts, and even helps my breakouts go down. It is truly amazing and I highly recommend it. It really does keep my makeup looking fresh during that nine to five.

Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas - Sephora $52

I then use the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. It is amazing. It’s not heavy whatsoever and gives you a great glow. It’s like a higher-end BB cream in my eyes. I absolutely recommend it. I personally have repurchased about three times now.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter – Sephora $44

Another option I use is the Hydromaniac by Urban Decay. It’s also pretty good. I use this if I want to switch it up throughout the week and it’s also much cheaper.

Urban Decay Hydromaniac Foundation - Ulta $29

The concealer I use is the Stay Naked Perfecting Concealer. I really enjoy this concealer. It isn’t too heavy and does its job well. I also used to use the Tarte SEA hydrocealer which I loved. I wanted to try the Stay Naked, so I did not repurchase the Tarte, but the two options are equally my favorite.

Tarte Hydrocealer – Sephora $10-$25

Stay Naked Perfecting Concealer – Ulta $29

For powder, I use the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation. I really enjoy this powder I got it about two months ago and will definitely repurchase it when the time comes. It’s not too heavy and looks very natural.

Fenty Beauty Pro filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation – Sephora $36

For blush, I use the Nars blush in the shade Torrid. Before this shade I used Orgasm, I love them both but Torrid is darker and adds more color to my cheeks, in my opinion.

Nars Torrid – Sephora $30

Nars Orgasm – Sephora $30

For my highlight, I use Nars as well. I use Nars Fort De France. I honestly bought this for the name because I love France, but it’s beautiful. It’s a sparkly champagne color and looks amazing no matter the look.

Nars Fort De France – Sephora $38

For eyebrows, I used a tinted eyebrow gel by Dior. It’s the Dior Pump ‘N’ Brow. It comes in three colors. I personally have dark brown, but they also have black and chestnut. I enjoy this eyebrow gel the most out of all the ones I have used. I have used all the Anastasia eyebrow products as well as the benefit products. They are all good products, this is just what I find works best for me.

Dior Pump ‘N’ Brow – Sephora $29

The eyebrow curler I use is from Tweezerman. All eyebrow curlers do the same sort of thing for me, I just picked this one up at Target because it was convenient and rose gold.

Tweezerman Classic Lash Curler – Tweezerman $14.50

The mascara I use is the Diorshow Mascara in Pro Black. This is a very elegant mascara, it never clumps and gives your eyelashes a very natural and subtle look. Which, I personally enjoy for everyday work purposes. If that isn’t the look you enjoy, I would say use the Climax Mascara by Nars. Amazing mascara and perfect for a night out or a bolder everyday look.

Dior Diorshow Mascara in Pro Black – Sephora - $29.50

Nars Climax Mascara – Sephora $24

My favorite eyeliner literally ever is the tattoo liner by KVD. It goes on so perfectly as well as mess-free and looks amazing. I personally have the mini version.

KVD Beauty Kitten Mini Tattoo Eyeliner – Sephora $12

I use a waterline eyeliner on days I want my eyes to seem brighter and more awake. I use the Benefit Cosmetics Roller Eye Bright Waterline Eyeliner. It’s a pink sparkly waterline liner and really does make my eyes pop. I don’t use it often, but on days I need it I am thankful I have it.

Benefit Roller Eye Bright Waterline Eyeliner – Sephora $20

For my everyday lips, they aren’t that exciting but definitely worthwhile. The three I rotate between are the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm in the watermelon scent, and the Sugar balm by Fresh in the shade Honey. They are all super hydrating which I need for days in the office.

Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm Ultra-Hydrating Lip Treatment (watermelon Kiss) – Sephora $23

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm (gummy bear) – Sephora $17

Fresh Sugar Lip Balm Sunscreen SPF 15 – Sephora $24

Last but not least, setting spray. The setting spray I use is by Too Faced. It’s the Hangover 3-in-1. It works well for me and does its job but I don’t think I will repurchase. I have really been wanting to try the Dewy Set by Anastasia. I will list both options for you guys!

Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer and Setting Spray - Sephora $17 - $33

Dewy Set Setting Spray Anastasia Beverly Hills - Sephora $15 - $26
